Hello! I’m Alan Weiss, the owner and founder of Weiss Luxury Travel, LLC, and Luxury Travel Concierge with a passion for creating personalized, unforgettable travel experiences for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. My mission is to design itineraries that cater to your unique preferences and personality traits, helping you explore the world in a way that’s as individual as you are.

I have over a decade of experience in the hospitality and travel industry, beginning with my degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration from the University of New Orleans (2015). My journey in hospitality started in New Orleans, where I worked at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans as a Housekeeping Supervisor before transitioning to the Omni Riverfront Hotel in 2016. It was at the Omni where I truly honed my skills as a Concierge, helping guests create bespoke experiences and learning the art of anticipating needs and crafting the perfect itineraries. I was honored to be an Omni Service Champion from 2016 to 2020, and in 2018, I became the first Certified Hotel Concierge accredited by the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) in New Orleans and the state of Louisiana.

However, in 2020, like many in the industry, I faced unexpected challenges due to the pandemic. That’s when I realized my true calling wasn’t just about hotel management—it was about travel. Over the years, I’ve always been the one planning trips for friends, family, and myself, spending hours ensuring every detail was perfect. After getting married in 2023, I poured even more energy into creating flawless vacation experiences. It became clear to me: combining my love for travel with my concierge skills was the perfect next step.

In 2024, I became an independent contractor for Blue Shore Vacations, and later that year, I founded Weiss Luxury Travel, LLC. I’m now a Recognized Travel Advisor (RTA) and accredited by CCRA TRUE, a member of the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA), and a proud member of the International LGBTQIA+ Travel Association (IGLTA). I specialize in curating travel experiences for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies, ensuring every trip I plan is not only personalized but also safe, welcoming, and inclusive.
